M&F Bank Awards $10,000 Grant to INTHEMIX Productions

Community Bank Encourages Job Creation Through Statewide Empowering Growth Initiative

DURHAM, N.C. – June 11, 2025– M&F Bank, North Carolina’s only Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and minority-owned bank, awarded a $10,000 grant to INTHEMIX Productions, a minority-owned entertainment business based in Durham. The award was presented June 3 at the bank’s Durham branch as part of its Empowering Growth Small Business Grant initiative. 

This grant marks the first of five $10,000 awards M&F Bank will distribute in 2025 through an ongoing partnership with Fiserv, a leading global provider of payments and financial services technology solutions. The initiative aims to spur economic development by supporting small businesses across North Carolina. Additional grant recipients will be announced in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Charlotte and Raleigh this year.
